Highlights from Spotlight The Arts

On May 13, 2010, the Fairfax Christian School hosted our annual Spotlight The Arts. The event featured the Colonial Fife and Drum Corps, the A Cappella Choir for our international students, drama and soloists. The projects entered in our annual school-wide art contest were displayed in the lobby. Here is a video with some highlights from the evening.

Miss Hays Class - Art

As we head into the summer months, we are reminded of hot weather and many events that occur.  Mother's Day is always a special time of the year and so my children made cards and wrote their notes.  My children also made animals which they know that God made and they had to follow directions on a clown project.  My children also made clouds to represent the weather as the weather changes moment by moment in the spring and summer times.  The children have learned so much this year and I am so grateful that they have the knowledge of God and Jesus.
