Fire Department Visit

Fire Department Visit
by Brian Lam

On Wednesday, October, 20, the Fairfax Fire Department visited Fairfax Christian School. While they were here, they showed the students the basics of being a fireman. After talking about what a fireman does, the fire department demonstrated how they put on their gear. The firemen showed students some of their unique equipment that is used to save lives every day. At the end, the students had a chance to climb into and sit in the fire truck. The students enjoyed the visit from the fire department as they learned the role of a fireman in the community. We thank the fire department for their time to visit Fairfax Christian School.

Miss Hays Class - Art

As we head into the summer months, we are reminded of hot weather and many events that occur.  Mother's Day is always a special time of the year and so my children made cards and wrote their notes.  My children also made animals which they know that God made and they had to follow directions on a clown project.  My children also made clouds to represent the weather as the weather changes moment by moment in the spring and summer times.  The children have learned so much this year and I am so grateful that they have the knowledge of God and Jesus.
